R&S Supply Company has sold many different Polyethylene Wine Storage Tanks over the years. We have been distributors for the famed ” Oenotank” ( which sadly is no longer made. We were a distributor for Flextank for a short period of time but that wasn’t a good fit. Then came along the Vino Pro Tank. It seems to have combined the good qualities of both of those tanks and then improved upon it. These tanks have been very well received and rightly so.
The Vino Tank Pro is manufactured from Virgin Polyethylene with 2 different thicknesses to allow them to be used for ” Aging” or a thicker version which is ideal for long term storage. They can both be stacked 3 high when full. This is ideal for facilities with limited space looking for an economic storage solution.
The Vino Pro Tank for aging allows the tank to beathe like a Barrel allowing for some oxygen permeation which is ideal for aging Red Wines. The permeation level is almost identical to that of a Wine Barrel and much more economical.
The Vino Pro Tank for storage is somewhat thicker with less oxygen permeation making it ideal for White Wine, Cider & Spirits.
The Vino Pro Tank has some very Powerful Features:
- Proven 1/4 turn lid can easily be installed by the user in seconds. No more fumbling around with a clamping lid system that you need an advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering to install.
- Patented slope bottom design with a built in wedge that allows the tank to fully drain without any awkward turning and tilting.
- Ability to use Barrel Bungs or a solid cap
- Polyethylene tanks made with USDA Food Grade Resin.
- Very large Manway allowing full access for cleaning.
